Farmhouse Glass Kitchen Sign

Today I'm sharing a fun little upcycle that I recently made for my kitchen.  I love the look of farmhouse signs and this cute little number was super easy to make.  I think you'll see lots of opportunities for future projects personalized to your home decor.

As a Silhouette Monthly Challenge Team, we decided to tackle an upcycle this month.  I am constantly changing out decor, so I have a stash of frames sitting around just waiting to be revived!

This one used to hang in our bedroom, but was long since taken down and was being stored in my basement storage area.  If you have one like that, then grab it and let me show you how easy it was to make this farmhouse kitchen sign.

I started with a recycled frame.  If you do not have one lying around, a great place to look is at thrift stores.  Spray paint or paint your frame to the color you desire.  Using your Silhouette, make a logo or image you wish to use.  I chose one from the Silhouette store to use.  Print our your image on clear sticker paper.  Adhere to the glass.  Next, attach heavy gauge wire by stapling it on the back.  I added a ribbon for a finishing touch.

You can personalize this frame for any room in your home.  If you don't wish to hang it, it would look cute propped against your kitchen backsplash or on a shelf as well.

I'm thrilled with how it turned out.  It adds a cute little touch to my kitchen.  Want to try this project out yourself?  I've linked to the supplies needed below.
