My First Peony and a Little Entryway Vignette

I have dreamed of peonies growing in my cut flower garden, so I am making it happen!

I might just be a little obsessed with peonies!  There is something so magical about those big gorgeous blooms with all those layers of petals that make my heart go pitter patter!  Especially pink ones.

I have dreamed for a long time about having my own peony garden where I can step out like in a movie with my snazzy garden hat and straw basket and cut my own blooms.  Hee Hee!  Instead, you may just see me in ripped jeans, scissors, and an old bucket, but oh heck, who cares, it's still going to happen.  I'm determined to make this a reality, so I bought two peony plants and in the ground, they went about two weeks ago!

I am happy to report that I already got my first big beautiful bloom!  Sorry to the neighbors who probably heard my squeals of delight when I caught a glimpse of my first flower.  Being a newbie at this whole peony thing, I am going to be looking forward to hearing your advice/ thoughts and what has worked for you about growing them.  I am planning on an expansion to my two little plants if this all goes well.

Being my first and oh so special bloom, I cut it and brought it right in.  It is looking beautiful right in my entryway among a pretty little vignette. It looks especially cute in my faux milk glass vase.  You can see how to make your own milk glass, HERE LINK

Oh, and my fiddle leaf was a purchase at Home Depot.  It was on clearance because it's dying.  I'm going to nurse it back to life if I can.  Any suggestions for the brown ends?
