Ok, so yesterday I explained what a capsule wardrobe is and how I recently went through the process of simplifying my own wardrobe. If you missed that post, you can catch up on it here. Today, I am showing you one of the versatile outfits I came up with for my new simplified wardrobe. This outfit is almost all clothes I already had, just hadn't put together before. When things cleared out of my closet, it left me more room for creativity with my choices left.
A denim shirt is a must in any wardrobe. It goes with any color of pants. You can wear it over tanks, under sweaters, with a scarf or without. I purchased this basic one from Gap last year and I wear it year round. You may recognize the scarf from my last Stitch Fix box. I love the plaid and it is right on par with this season's trends which I posted about here. I think this scarf will go with many items in my current wardrobe.
It may be difficult to see in the above pictures, but Target is making tanks which are tunic length now! Hello! Thank you, Target! These are perfect to wear over leggings to give you a little more coverage in the behind.
