2015 Home Tour Blog Hop: A Glimpse of Fall
I hope you've been enjoying the Home Style blog hop that I've been a part of this week. Β You can refer back to Monday's post for a whole list of blogs participating to check each one out. Β It has been so much fun seeing how everyone's style is so unique to them!
Today I am doing a Fall Decor Home Tour and will be showing you some of the ways that we welcome the season of fall into my home.Β Β If you're joining me from the Shelstring Fall Home Tour, than welcome and nice to meet ya!Β I'm so excited that Michele organized this and that I could be a part of it!
Β I'm Amy and I write about home decor, fashion, family andΒ an occasional recipe or two. Fall is such a great time of year, I relish in the idea ofΒ making my home warm and cozy to enjoy family and friends. This time of year, weekends are filled with soccer games, pumpkin picking, making s'mores around our fire pit, and wrapping up in warm comfy blankets.
It is my favorite season, so we go all out in welcoming it into our home.
First stop is our front porch. Β In this space we use ceramic pumpkins, gourds, pumpkins, and hay bales to welcome the season and draw friends into our home.
In our family room, the focus is on our fall mantle. Β This year, I made a fall banner to hang over a recently painted antique mirror. Β 
This is our tv viewing area, so we love to create warm and cozy areas to curl up with a book or a tv show.
In the dining room, a basket of miniature white pumpkins each have a leaf written with a word that represents fall.
Other vingettes throughout our home include pumpkins and antique vintage finds mixed together.
On to the kitchen, where you find even our kitchen scale gets a pumpkin.
