One Room Challenge Reveal Week {ORC}: Reveals Not To Miss

This week is a monumental week, as I finish up my very first One Room Challenge.  I am happy to say that the room is complete and I am so excited  to share it with you later in the week.

I have been blessed over the last year to have found a blogger tribe that is filled with not only some of the nicest ladies I've ever met, but an inspiring and talented group of women also!  Many of these women have hopped on board the One Room Challenge along with me and have some amazing spaces to reveal.  As a group, we thought it would be fun to give you a sneak peek look at each other's spaces before the reveal.

Several of us worked on our kid's spaces. As you know when working with children's rooms, storage is the key.  The smaller they are, the more they seem to have, so maximizing storage space is crucial.  In my son's bedroom, I accomplished this by adding a bookshelf and some unique antique pieces.

Here are some other unique ways that storage has been added to bedrooms.

Katy from A Shade of Teal, made over an IKEA dresser and added DIY book shelves in her Rustic Glam Nursery.

Sarah, from Flourish and Knot, is also working on a nursery.  Her little one's room is going to have a Harry Potter theme.  To add storage to her room, she repainted a dresser in a beautiful navy blue and added an ottoman with concealed storage.

Sarah from Little Bits of Home built a window seat with extra storage for her little boy's new room.

Another great option for increasing storage is to rework a closet.  Amanda from Our House To New Home added new shelves which will be perfect for storage baskets.
