Welcome back to Week #3 of our Curb Appeal Challenge. If you're catching up, here are
This week was all about the porch! If you remember, before the refresh, we had two wicker chairs, several planters, and a door mat. These were good staples but with the addition of a few items and flowers, I think you'll agree that the curb appeal is much better now!
I did my shopping at At Home. At Home is a Home Decor Superstore with every department you can think of- art, decor, lamps, vases, furniture, textiles, housewares, patio and garden, rugs and seasonal items. They have a huge selection of outdoor furnishings perfect for any style and price point.
What I was looking for was some new chair cushions and pillows along with a bright planter to add a pop of color to the porch. I ended up finding this amazing bench to add additional seating on the other side of the porch. It now looks balanced and creates a perfect conversation area.
I loved this bright green planter from At Home. It's the perfect pop of color especially paired with bright orange flowers.
On the other side, I set up a seating area with the wicker set. By adding new chair pads and pillows, the set looks brand new.

I love how comfy the porch is now. It is somewhere we look forward to sitting each night and watching the kids play on the driveway. We have already enjoyed a few glasses of lemonade out there!
Here is the before.
And now after!
Next week, I am going to tackle the lighting!

I was looking at the cushions at my last At Home visit and WOW they have the best selection I’ve ever seen. I really love the thick cushions you added and the colorful pillows. I also love all of the pots and that bench really does look nice on the other side. What a lovely space!!

Beautiful Amy!! Bold colors shine with all the pretty florals!!
Wow, love the colors, your door, and how you styled it! Looks so inviting!
The colors you choose are vibrant and it makes the front porch really show off nicely! Its amazing what a change does! You are almost done! I love the rug, I almost got a rug similar to that but decided to go with a different blue!
Thank you! I am thrilled with how it turned out. We are enjoying it like a little outside room which is nice!
Wow, adding those things really did make a difference! I really like the flower pillows and the green planter. I never thought about putting anything other than a welcome mat out front, but I really like the look of your rug.
Thank you, Brenda! My hubby questioned the “layered” rugs, but I am a big fan of how it turned out!
You have a beautiful front porch! I love the rug and the planter you selected! This inspires me to spruce up my front porch too!
Thank you Mary! It’s small but we squeaked out every last inch we could!
Wow, Amy! It looks incredible! It is amazing what a difference the bench and new cushions made. I can completely see sipping lemonade on that porch. Great, great job!
