Thank you to At Home for partnering with me to bring you this inspiration space. As always, thoughts and opinions are 100% mine. Thank you for supporting those that make My Life From Home possible! See full disclosure, here.
I love neutral colors and paired with metallics, it's a perfect combination for summer. Recently, gold has crept in as a favorite and taken over for the silver trend that has been around for so long. I still love my silvers, but gold is a stunning choice to add some updated freshness to your space.
I have a tween girl and she is in love with gold. We are planning a room redo for her this fall, so with that in mind, we've done a lot of research and a little shopping to get our style juices flowing. While I love farmhouse style and chippy furniture is my thing, my daughter loves all things clean-lined and modern. To gather ideas and to plan her space, we spent some time together on Pinterest narrowing down her style and figuring out what she likes/ dislikes. She kept coming back to gold as her accent. I am thrilled to work on her space and give her a room that she will hopefully like for many years.
We began our shopping at At Home. At Home has something for everyone's style. That's why it is always my go-to home decor store. Not only do they have items I like, but I knew they would have things my daughter would love as well.

At Home Finds: acrylic chair, knit pouf, dream catcher, gold vase, gold globe, mini succulents
One of the things I appreciate about At Home is the high-end look you can achieve on a lower budget. Items are affordable and make it easy to switch your style without breaking the bank. With over 500 new items each week, you never know what you might find!
When we got our goodies home, I wasn't even necessarily thinking about putting them all together, but wow, they really worked!
When we saw the acrylic chair, I knew it was a keeper. Isn't it gorgeous? It makes the perfect companion to the soft pouf. The touches of gold with our accents and the green succulents pop against the basic neutral background.
Our last-minute pick was the whimsical dream catcher. I love the texture it adds to the space and a little boho vibe that she likes.
Even though we aren't done with this space, these little touches are a good jumping off point for her bohemian bedroom space.

I love the gold accents paired with the lucite chair & the pouf! Your daughter has a great sense of style (wonder where she gets that!?) 😉 I’m excited to see her full room makeover later this year!
