Let me start with telling you how much I really like a bargain. The more into designing my home I've become, the more thrifty I've started to be. It can get a whole lot of expensive to redo a room! With that said, I've really begun to sniff out a bargain and that's why I'm as excited as I am to share one of my favorite places with you today; Bargains and Buyouts. If you are a Cincinnati local, you NEED to know all about this place, so I am going to give you the scoop! If you've read my blog since the beginning, you may remember this post from a long time ago when I found the perfect chair for Olivia's bedroom.
Recently, I had the pleasure of being invited to a blogger event at Bargains and Buyouts. It was a great opportunity to hear from Greg and Marc the owners of the business. They shared with us all the ins and outs of the store; how they source the furniture, what days are the best shopping days, how to negotiate a better deal, and what to expect while shopping. So what is Bargains and Buyouts?
It is a home decor and furniture store with two local locations:

They offer brand new furniture from brands like Ashley Furniture, Stein World, IFD, Jackson, and Von Bassett along with many more well-known brands. Their inventory changes daily which is exciting, but also means that when you see something you love, you had better snatch it up because it may not be there the next time you go!
What do I love about Bargains and Buyouts?
•The staff is friendly and not pushy. They are there to help but will not hound you like you see in some other furniture stores.
•They truly want to offer you the best price possible, so don't be afraid to ask!! Negotiating is encouraged, all you have to say is, “What's your best price?” I promise you, they will offer you even more than you expected. No joke!
•They help you load your car. Yep, you show the salesperson what you want and they mark it, give you a slip to purchase at the counter and then when you are ready, they will load it right into your vehicle. Don't bring your smart car, the bigger the car, the more you can buy!! 🙂
•Too big to load in your car? They do offer delivery.
•Financing is available.
•Bargains and Buyouts has a Rewards Program. Sign up for it at checkout and receive special alerts and discount deals via text. It will make your day when you get that random take $10 off text.
•See something you want more of? In store ordering of items is available with some brands. Ask one of the friendly staff.
•It's a fun experience. Shopping should be fun and at Bargains and Buyouts, it is always an adventure.
When is the best time to shop?
Josh, the Western Hills store manager, said the prime shopping days are Tuesday- Saturdays with Fridays and Saturdays being the best for inventory. Inventory does change daily even hourly as shipments arrive. They also run specials throughout the week and may offer an additional percentage off certain items such as rugs or lighting, so be sure to watch for those.
In addition, they have a “blue tag” section which is 50% off.
Ok, so what did I see that I had to have while shopping. Definitely a whole lot more than I needed, but I did come home with an amazing 5- tier industrial rack perfect for my dining room. It is going to offer me much-needed storage for linens, platters, and other goodies. I'll share how I styled it with you at a later time.
