I came across the cutest craft/ DIY project this week over on Instagram and I couldn't wait to share it with you! My friends at 2 Bees in a Pod are a mother/ daughter blogging duo. I was fortunate enough to meet them at a blogging conference several years ago. They are the sweetest, if you do not follow them, I would definitely suggest checking out their beautiful blog for lots of great decor, recipes, and DIY projects (LINK).
Aren't these adorable? They wrapped Dollar Tree gaudy orange carrots with pretty fabric for a whole new look!
I'm really drawn to white clean master bedroom spaces. When we redid our master in our last house, I wanted to brighten it up with white. You can see our Farmhouse Master Bedroom space in this post (LINK). And just this week, I shared the before and after of our master bedroom in this house (LINK). In both spaces, I used white as a background and very little in the way of color. Though I appreciate color in other spaces of my home, a clean palette of neutrals is peaceful and calming to me for a bedroom retreat.
In this example, I love the white mixed with the warm wood tones, it gives it warmth and character.

How beautiful and romantic is this canopy over the bed? I would love this for a guest bedroom.

And lastly, the soft blues in this space mixed with the white give this space such a cozy feeling!

I am always looking for good basics when it comes to t-shirts or summer. I must be late to the party, but I just discovered Everlane (LINK) and bought several plain t-shirts for summer. So flattering, soft, and great prices. Have you bought from them before? I'm so happy to have discovered them!
I will be skipping next week's post because our family will be on vacation. While there, we are also looking at colleges~ hard to believe!
XO,
