It's been a dream of mine for years to have my very own store, but as a mom of 3, it just never felt like the right time. With my White Cottage Home online shop (LINK), I could be flexible with the days and times that I worked on it. As much as I love the shop, I've been having an itch lately to set up shop again.

The most logical step seemed to rent a booth, so that's what I have done! Just this week, I scouted out locations, put down a deposit, and filled up my brand new booth (# M19) at Westchester Antique Center (LINK). I love how I can now mix in big items and furniture along with the cottage decor I was selling online. I will continue to have the online store available, but I hope you will come visit my booth if you're a local reader or if you happen to be passing by Cincinnati!
So today, I thought it would be fun to give you a preview of my new space.
BEFORE
Ugly walls needed to be covered!
DURING
Moving in!
I used old curtains stapled up to cover the walls. Not sure that I will keep that long term. You can still see some of it at the bottom also which I don't like. I have some better ideas for the walls, but wanted to get something up quickly, so I went with the curtains.
AFTER
I have so much excitement for this new little business venture! I plan to spend a day a week refreshing and shushing my little booth! I will keep you posted on my progress. Let me know if you'd like more specific posts in the future on running an antique booth. I am by no means an expert, but we can learn together!

Booth M19
Your booth contains exactly what my booth and every other booth in any antique mall USA contains. A load of crap.. Facts are, the only one truly profiting is the owner. My owner has a Tesla and a BMW station wagon. They get guaranteed rent and a 10% cut. Go figure.
