Today, I've teamed up with our Decorate Your Mantel team for a Christmas Edition of our mantels! I will be showing you just one of my mantels today, and saving my favorite for another post! The mantel in our library/ office is in the center of the house and a room we use a lot. This space has a warm and cozy feel with a leather club chair and ottoman for reading, a secretary desk, a green dresser, and a wall of bookshelves. I decided for the mantel in this space, to keep it true to nature and pull in the traditional green and rustic touches. Using a narrow tree in a wicker basket, I loaded it with our favorite animal ornaments. On the mantel, I continued the greenery with a mini tree, garland, and birch logs. In the center is a new wooden Merry Christmas cut out that I bought recently at our Holiday Market. A worn copy of the Christmas Carol, O' Come All Ye Faithful hangs in the center of a vintage framed chalkboard. The only other touches I added were more birch logs in my copper bucket and a snow-covered birdhouse and reindeer at the base of the tree. It's a cozy and warm holiday space that we will enjoy throughout the season.

To Life Feeling Like Home!
XO,
Amy, I love how you’ve decked out this room! Your mantel is giving off the best cozy vibes (I love the sheet music!) and your animal themed tree is so cute.
This is such a beautiful mantel. Love the rustic touches. And now I need to go find some birch logs!!!
Amy – your rustic mantel is perfection. The addition of the Christmas sheet music is so creative! The little vintage skis are super cute, as is the tree. Thanks so much for including us!
Thank you, Vicki! I’m always glad you are hopping along with me. 🙂
