Today, I am excited to share a few family traditions and recipes with you.
If you're like me, then a visit to a pumpkin farm or apple orchard in the fall means a gallon of fresh apple cider is definitely coming home with you! Any leftover cider I like to use in recipes. Two of my favorite recipes are Apple Cider Caramels (LINK) and Apple Cider Donuts (LINK). Both are amazing and if you like apple pie spice, you are sure to enjoy both of these! I love to use parchment square (LINK) to wrap my caramels individually. It takes loads of time, but they are perfect for gifting and also will help your caramels to last longer. A morning cup of coffee and an apple cider donut?!~ nothing quite like it!
Another fun fall project is baking fruit slices in the oven. Not only is the smell amazing but it's really easy to do. I recently did this to oranges, limes, and lemons. Apples are another great contender for this project. The dried fruit can then be used in your fall and winter decor. You can put it in vases with a candle, make a wreath or garland, or make ornaments for your Christmas tree. In the video below, I give you step by step instructions if you want to try this on your own.
Fall is sprinkled throughout my home and outdoor spaces. From my fall mantel (LINK), family room (LINK), to my small front porch (LINK), every little space gets a touch of fall.
