Do you ever get a manicure, pay your bill and then walk out realizing you have already smudged one of your nails? Nothing is more frustrating to me than nail polish. I wish I could say that I enjoyed painting my nails, but that's just not me. I feel like they never stay very long and my few experiences with acrylics and gel polish have left my nails in horrible shape.
Recently, I had the opportunity to try out Jamberry nail wraps. My sister-in-law, Jennie, has been selling them for a while now and I was very intrigued by the idea. They are wraps which you cut and then heat to place over your nails. They do not damage your nails and will stay on a lot longer than a normal polish.
Sounds like a win- win. Oh, and they come in awesome colors and patterns to mix and match.
Here is Jennie showing you a video on how to apply the wraps.
I purchased all the supplies through Jamberry, but simple manicure tools and a hair dryer will suffice.
1. After matching the correct wrap with your nail, you cut it in half and then heat it.
2. After heating you press onto nail and smooth out.
3. Cut excess off and buff end of nail to smooth.
4. After heating one more time, you are done!
I have to say that I am super impressed with how long they last (about 3-4weeks). I've heard even longer for some.
It did take me a while to get the hang of putting them on, but with a few simple tricks, it became much easier. Also, I find it much easier to do my toenails since you have use of your dominant hand.
Here is the result. With all the available colors and patterns, it is a fun way to liven up any outfit.
Here are other examples of Jamberry styles and colors.
And they have mini Jamberry's for your little girl. Here is my niece showing off her nail wraps.

February is a great time to try them, as some discontinued designs are on their way out!
