I opened my own booth in an antique mall several months ago. I don't have a lot to compare it too, but I am happy with how its doing so far. Every week to two, I stop in and restock and refresh the contents. Sometimes just by moving things around, you draw attention to something your customers might have missed last time they were in.
I recently sold a table and when furniture sells, it really changes the look of the booth. I try to keep a piece in my reserve so that when something big sells, I have something to replace it with.
My goal has been to add shoppable little areas throughout the booth to draw people in. This time, I added a vintage suitcase and stuffed it full of vases and planters to shop. Faux flowers in a few show the customers how you can use these items in your home. One corner is also my dining area with all of the plates, china, and kitchenwares all in one spot.
It's slowly evolving and I'm getting better with displaying my items. If you're interested in seeing how its changed, you can read this post; I Opened a Booth at an Antique Mall (LINK).
