Love and a Good Book

Well, it's a start of a new month and I'm excited to share that our master bath renovation is moving along.  I shared a live update on Facebook last week if you missed it.  I couldn't be happier with the cement tile, heart eyes all around!  It's the time in the project where you start to feel impatient, but I know there is still so much to be done, so I'm hanging in there and celebrating the small victories every day!  I'll share a full update later in the week, so keep an eye out for that!

I'm excited that my mom is coming in from Arizona for the week.  We are planning a little family party for my son, Grant who turns 6 (can't believe it!) on the 11th.  With Valentine's Day coming up, I thought I'd share some fun ideas that I've gathered together from earlier posts you may have missed.  Also, read on to also see a round-up of my favorite books about finding love!  It's the perfect month to grab a new read.

What are your Valentine's Day plans?

Valentine's Day Round-Up

I don't do a ton of decorating for Valentine's Day, but last year, I made this cute LOVE sign.  To see all the details on this craft project, Click HERE.

Looking for a fun Valentine DIY with a printable?  These Hot Chocolate Spoons are adorable. You can get the recipe and printable HERE.

What about a special treat for your kids?  These Neapolitan Rice Krispie Treats are super yummy and easy to make!

When I think of Valentine's Day, I think of roses!  Here is a unique ombre arrangement I made using all pink roses.

Do you like red roses instead?  Here's another fun arrangement I put together with just a grocery store bouquet.

I love a good book and chick lit books are my favorite!  A good love story and a happy ending and I'm all about it.  February is the perfect month to pick up a new book and enjoy a love story.  I'm sharing some of my all time favorites with you!  These are fun reads about finding love, (no Harlequin romances here!).  You will love some of these authors if you haven't tried them before.  Several of the books are a part of series so, keep them in mind for future reads as well.
