There's something so special about summer fruits! I look forward all year to the harvest that summer brings. Whether its strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or peaches, you know it's going to be good! My family often makes a point of visiting our local farmer's markets or even picking our own fruit when available. Do you enjoy doing that? It's a fun family event. The problem I run into is what to do with all that awesome seasonal bounty when I get home. After we've gorged ourselves right from the bucket, I have to think of recipes to use that fruit so it doesn't go bad. Today, our features are showing you some unique recipes and ideas (think farmer's market party!) to use all that summer freshness. I can't wait to give some of these a try with my family. Enjoy and get baking!
