If you are at all like me, then you probably realize at the very last-minute that you forgot something important for your meal and are off to the grocery this a.m.! While you are there, if you are looking for a last-minute centerpiece for your table, I've got you covered! Or, if you need a quick gift for the hostess today, this simple 10 minute project looks a whole lot more thoughtful than just handing cellophane wrapped flowers to your mom!
To make 2 different arrangements, I grabbed one bouquet and several lemons, limes, pears, and oranges.
For the first arrangement, I put a floral block in the center of the bowl I was using, and working from the middle out, I snipped the flowers and formed clusters until no gaps were left all the way around.
For the 2nd arrangement, I first filled the bowl with my fruit and then stuck flowers into cracks filling in any empty spaces.
So simple, yet sophisticated and festive!
1 Bouquet= 2 Arrangements!
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays for so many reasons. The first reason that comes to mind is pumpkin pie! I love pumpkin pie and always hold off for my first piece of the season until Thanksgiving day. There is something about pumpkin pie with whipped cream that says to me, “bring on the season!” I also really love stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy! ? Ok enough about food, I'm now reaching for my stretchy yoga pants!
No, I really love Thanksgiving for lots of other reasons. It's a great time of year to remember my blessings, teach my kids about gratitude and to get ready to focus December on being thankful for Christ and the reason we celebrate Christmas. I am truly thankful for you, my readers, as well. It is my hope that today is filled with laughter and love for you and yours!
