I decided to do a little refresh and update in our master bedroom for spring. It's the perfect spot for a few touches of pink and green because of the all white neutral decor. I actually eliminated some items and scaled back on the decor and I think it's a pretty space to relax and enjoy a few quiet moments before bed.

The first part of the refresh was the bed itself. I bought a new sheet set from the Simply Shabby Chic collection at Target. The small sprinkle of pink flowers on the white background give the bed a fresh feminine feel for the new season. Pairing those with the mint green shams and duvet cover from Ballard Designs and it updates the bed just a touch.
Next, I removed the artwork from the top of the armoire for a simple change. In this season, I find myself really craving the clean and uncluttered look. I also applied that same philosophy to the mantel in this room. As much as I loved our Shabby Chic White Mantel decor, I was ready for a more simplified look. Keeping the mirror, I added my faux green milk glass vases along with a few antique white vases and added just a sprig of flowers in each. It's beautiful and just enough.
The last addition was a simple green and white vase filled with faux pink flowers on the dresser. All in all, I love the more simplified look and the touches of spring mixed with the all white decor are just enough of color to make me crave that warmer weather which I hope is coming soon!
Our mantel got an update with these faux milk glass DIY vases that I made awhile back. Pairing those with simple white milk glass vases and a mirror and a simple yet pretty mantel is just right for the season.
I hope this inspires you to make a few quick changes in your bedroom for the spring season!
