We have this nook in our bedroom entryway that you can see from the hallway. It gets great natural light so it's the ideal sunny spot to house a special vignette. When we first moved in, it had a green painted table (LINK). That table has since moved to our library office, so I've searched for a pretty piece to fill this empty space. A while back, I went to an antique fair and fell in love with the cutest little desk painted in the perfect shade of green. It was a no brainer that this little piece needed to come home with me!

The highlight of this nook is the desk. Its color is fresh and plays with the natural green of the fiddle fig leaf tree right next to it. On the desk, I put a framed watercolor of our family, an antique bottle with a sprig of greenery, a brass vessel and an antique brass turtle. Under the desk is a basket with pillows and beside the desk is an antique rocking chair I inherited from my grandmother.
Hanging above the display is a gorgeous scroll canvas from Vol 25 (LINK). I got this piece about a year ago and it is still one of my favorites. It came with the stained trimmed wood and kit to hang it on the wall. You definitely need to check out her shop link for all of her beautiful scrolls.
I hope this inspires you to use every little nook and cranny for decorating in your own home!

So Pretty! Pinning.
