People often refer to hot chocolate and hot cocoa as the same thing but, while both delicious, they are actually two separate things. Hot chocolate refers to chocolate that is melted with a warmed milk or cream mixture while hot cocoa is typically water or milk with sugar and cocoa powder. I love them both, especially piled high with marshmallows! Check out these recipes below for ways to step up your hot cocoa/ hot chocolate game.
