Neutral & Serene Fall Home Tour

I want to thank Kirklands for partnering with me on this neutral & serene home tour.  All opinions are my own, see full disclosure HERE.

My favorite area in our home to decorate is our family room.  This is the space we spend the most time in.  It also has our fireplace which we use frequently when the weather turns cold here in Ohio.  There is nothing like a quiet night at home with a fire going and cozy blankets to curl up in.  We love to catch up on our favorite NetFlix shows on the weekends.  My home has slowly evolved into a palette of whites, creams, and greens.  I love the light and airy feel of these colors year round.  To add some fall coziness to the space, I was thrilled to add this charcoal vintage rug from Kirklands.  Just by switching out a few pillowcases and a lighter rug for this darker more muted rug, it feels more like fall. 

I love the vintage look of this rug with it's faded pattern.  It's plush and feels warm and inviting on your feet.  Do you see that adorable fall embroidered pillow cover?  That is handmade by my friend, Lisa, Farmhouse on Boone and she has them (and many other awesome covers!) in her shop, here.

My coffee table got an update for fall with a galvanized tray, a white pitcher of greenery, candles, books, and a pumpkin.  These pumpkins from Kirklands are the perfect little fall addition to tuck into trays, bowls, or to even stand alone on their own.  I did a whole post on how to style a functional yet pretty coffee table which you can catch here.

My mantel continues the theme of neutral and serene with shades of green pumpkins, painted mirrors, candlesticks, and a tobacco basket.

In the dining room, I went with a simple neutral fall tablescape with lots of texture and neutral elements. 

I can picture many yummy meals being eaten here this fall!
