Hot cocoa and coffee Station

This time of year makes me think of hot coffee and cocoa.  I love to just curl up in my reading chair next to the fire-place with a good book and a cup of joe!

I was inspired to make a little change to my current coffee station to freshen it up for the holidays.

Here is what it looked like before:

I changed out the cappuccino sign and instead brought in my Rosemary from our garden for indoor use this winter.  I repotted it in a simple galvanized bucket.

Next I changed the position of the clock and added a hook for my favorite mug.  A small cutting board stacked with my Christmas mugs is inviting visitors to grab a mug and enjoy a cup of coffee or cocoa.

Keeping my current lidded jar, I changed out my coffees to winter inspired blends and cocoas.

I also thought it would be fun to add some festive straws and I put those in a small mason jar mug with a chalkboard label.

The result is fun, festive and encourages friends to grab a cup and stay awhile.

Just a simple change can make your home feel new and refreshed.

To life feeling like home!

XO,

The Sunday Letter

Most Sundays, once the house has gone quiet and it's edging towards nine, a letter goes out. It's the one I'd write to a friend with good taste and not nearly enough time: one thing worth reading, one thing worth buying, and one thing to skip. No noise, no pressure to spend, just the considered version of what I've actually been using, loving, or quietly sending back.

If you like the sort of recommendation that still holds up six months later, leave your email below and I'll write to you on Sunday.
