Today, I've joined some of my favorite friends to share our front porches decorated for spring. Be sure to follow the links at the bottom of this post for lots of inspiration! We have been hard at work in our front yard changing it up and adding all new landscaping. We have more to do yet, but we are definitely getting somewhere with our updates. I love how it flows so nicely with the style of our home. Where it was before a huge area of concrete, we cut some of that out, added an extension to our brick sidewalk and added more grass up front. We even added a small fountain to up the curb appeal.
We are waiting patiently for our new plants and grass to grow, but it already looks much better than the overgrown mess we had before.

With all those fun changes, I didn't need to do much to our small porch to give it the seasonal update I wanted.
Our black bench is starting to see some wear, so I am thinking of giving it a new coat of paint here soon.
A few planters, pillows and my black lanterns give this small area a cozy and welcoming feel. I decided to go with white and red blooming flowers. The red will pop against the black and white decor. A green frog statue and a green planter also add a nice pop of color to the otherwise neutral pieces.
I picked up this pretty wreath from Michaels.
I love the layered look of the mats. Both were purchased on Amazon (see links below). Layered together, they add a lot of interest and texture to the space.
Join me in checking out some more great ideas below!
XO,

Thank you, Amy, for sharing simple spring porch decor ideas. Actually, I am mad for decoration and whenever I get extra time I work on it. Spring means flowers and trees and I really enjoy spring decoration.
Amy, when those plants come in the curb appeal is going to be outrageous! Such a beautiful home! I love the pop of red and the greenery also is a lovely contrast. Your bench is just perfect in that spot. I also love a layered rug – so much interest – and this is a great combination! Miss you, friend!
Thank you, Kim! It is definitely better than the weedy mess we had before!
Amy, you did a wonderful job decorating your Spring porch. I’m on the hunt for a buffalo check rug too. Thank you for sharing that! I love the classic black and white. That bench is one of my favorites! Thank you for hosting, hope we can enjoy the weather soon! ????
Your porch may be small, but it is lovely and welcoming! Your buffalo check rug is perfect for layering…I have the same one on my front porch in blue and white! I love the contrast of the green with your black accents! I never thought I would have a front porch, and now I have a huge wraparound one! It is the best thing ever! Happy Spring!
Thank you so much! I love the layered look it gives the space some extra texture. I would die for a wraparound! So much space to work with!
Amy, I just love your porch and loved seeing the progress in the front yard. You do have such great curb appeal!! Love the brick and the fountain. Your rugs are so cute and so are your pillows! All so pretty and inviting!
Awe, thank you so much! Yes, it’s been a progress, but we are loving how it is all coming together!
Amy – your Spring porch and outdoor spaces are beautiful. We love your classic black and white decor. The fountain is definitely a beautiful addition. Thanks so very much for hosting our tour!
