If you enjoy doing crafts, then you know that supplies multiply! I mean I have glues, paints, brushes, and paper all over the place. It often looks like a bomb went off in my dining room when I am trying to get a project completed. The worst part is I often stash things in different places, then I can't remember where I put them. I have tried several solutions to organizing my supplies including making space in our storage room in the basement for my items. The problem I found with that was I didn't enjoy doing crafts while sitting in my unfinished storage space; I mean, not too inspiring, so I would then have to drag everything upstairs which was a pain. Can anyone relate?
One day I was sitting in my office and looking around when a light bulb went off: why couldn't I convert a dresser I had in the space to craft supply storage! I proceeded to drag everything up from the basement (again!) and organize into the drawers in my dresser.
Here is the result.
Craft Supply Storage Dresser
You can see how I painted this dresser and gave it a new look with wrapping paper lined drawers here and here.
Ok, let's check out what's inside!
Let's talk about the storage ideas. I turned my craft paints upside down and put them together by colors. I also have a second drawer for stencils, painters tape, and other brushes. In the long drawers, I used clear bins to organize scissors, tools, glues, my glue gun, pens, and other supplies. I can see what I've got and can pull out a bin if I need to.
I'm excited to use this new storage system. I feel like it's taking my crafting to a whole new level.
How do you organize your supplies? I love hearing other peoples ideas!

I love this idea! Just thought of it a few weeks ago! Looking through thrift stores now! Love how you stored everything! I especially love the color of your dresser. It looks distressed! Craft room will be a lighter teal. Dressers will be white!
That sounds beautiful! I love the combo of teal and white. I hope you had success on your thrifting adventures!
