Hello! I'm happy to be back today with another Create with Me challenge! This month you voted that we use succulents in our projects. I have been so obsessed with faux succulents lately! You can see how I created a whole tablescape for spring using succulents. In addition, my new farmhouse bathroom is the home of a hanging white succulent planter.
Today, I decided to show you how to create a realistic arrangement using succulents and mini planters. Most of my mini planters are not planters at all. I love using unsual objects for faux arrangements. I pick up a lot of vintage silver at thrift stores. They are cheap and make for great containers and decorative pieces. For this project, I had several silver cups, a green depression glass creamer that I got at an antique store, and a hanging egg planter. Using the following items, I created one-of-a-kind arrangements that can be used on your table, on a bookshelf, hung in a window or displayed on a desk.
Here's what you need to make Mini Succulent Planters

Supplies:
For the glass container since it is see through, I filled the bottom with pea gravel and then moss.
For the other arrangements, just moss around the top and the edges of the planter was all you needed.
One tip is to buy arrangements with several stems so you can snip off the branches and use them for a variety of arrangements. Wire cutters make it much easier to cut a part the stems.
I love how each one turned out differently.
Aren't they cute? I love how they look grouped together or individually. The perfect little DIY for spring and summer decor!
Ok, now it's time to see what the rest of the Create With Me team came up with!

These are adorable! I love succulents, real or faux!
I love anything succulent! Great ideas to use things we already have around the house – like cups – to create mini arrangements. Visiting from Craft Schooling Sunday party.
Beautiful idea and even more beautiful pictures! Perfect for displaying vintage dishware collection, I have a load of nice creamers.

They are so cute Amy! I love how each one turned out a bit differently.
I love these mini succulent planters Amy! The rope hanging white one is my favorite! I love it!
These are darling, Amy! I love the mix of vintage silver & glass containers you used!
Great tips! I love using plants as home decorations, although I always struggle to keep them alive. Fake succulents are perfect because even the fairly inexpensive ones look realistic.
I know! They look so real. It is amazing!
Very pretty!
I know very little about houseplants, but I know NOTHING about succulents and how to grow them. This posts helps me to know more about them AND gives me some fun ideas for displaying them.
Thanks a bunch!
I have a hard time keeping them alive, so these faux ones are perfect! Glad you liked them!
These are so cute! I recently have started buying succulents too so I am pinning this for later!
Thanks, Mary! I love the faux ones for the ease and they look so real!
