Sometimes its fun to get dressed up and have a night out on the town. If you are a mom, then it's a necessity not a want! I always feel like a better mom when I have time to myself, my husband, or my friends.
My husband and I recently had a date night! Yes, a babysitter and a real night out!
We have an awesome area of town called Over the Rhine which has locally owned restaurants, bars, boutiques and breweries. I usual put on my “finest” to go out down there. It's always a fun time and no matter where you end up eating, the food is out of this world.
For this date night outfit, I paired my coated black jeans with a peplum top. My leopard heels and leather jacket put it all together, perfect for a night on the town!
Ok, let's talk about this outfit. I LOVE the jeans. They are actually denim which are coated with a slick coating to give them a leather like look. Dressy + comfort of denim= HELLO! In love 🙂
And how about those shoes! I have wanted a leopard heel for as long as I can remember. Being 5'11 already, heels aren't always my best friend. Most heels today are of at least a 3 inch heel, but these are 2 and 1/4 inch which make it easier to walk in and I'm not taller than my date! 🙂 I snapped these up from the J.Crew factory store as soon as I saw them.
You may remember this leather jacket from a Stitch Fix box. I actually had to return it for a bigger size and was thrilled they not only had it, but I was so pleased with their customer service!
