There's nothing like a hot bowl of soup on a snowy day! We had a record amount of snow this week in Cincinnati and all I could think about for dinner was a piping hot bowl of soup!

I found this easy recipe over on All Recipes (LINK). It was easy to throw together and let simmer as family arrived home from school and work.
To pull this recipe together in a pinch, I used canned carrots, skipped the celery, and chopped up cooked chicken breasts we had in the freezer. Once sautéing the veggies, herbs, and adding the broth, I threw in my wide egg noodles and let them boil and soften. The last step was to add the chicken and let simmer until dinner time!
Such a quick meal to have on hand! Who doesn't love chicken noodle soup!?
