Halloween Decor & a Pumpkin Carving Party

Halloween is just around the corner and though we might be celebrating in smaller ways this year, a small gathering, a few decorations, and some fun snacks will still bring the Halloween fun!

I don’t usually go all out for Halloween, but my daughter decided she wanted to host a pumpkin carving party, so it was the perfect excuse to do some decorating, make some fun treats and entertain for the evening!

For some fun decorations I purchased these 3-D bats from Amazon (LINK) and used double sided tape (LINK) to attach to the fireplace.  The bats swooping out of the fireplace and away they go!

The carving party and ensuing contest was the highlight of the night. I highly recommend this carving kit which is heavy duty and comes with templates (LINK).
