Hi, friends! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was jammed packed with kids activities including my daughter's first IEA equestrian show which was so much fun to watch!
I also was over the moon because my first post was published on Cincinnati Moms Blog! I am truly excited and honored to be joining them as a new monthly contributor. As if you didn't hear enough from me, you will now be able to find me there at least 2x a month! 🙂 My first post was about our adventure apple picking at A&M Farms and Orchards which I told you about in Friday's post, but you can read a lot more about it and see more pictures over at Cincy Moms Blog, HERE.
Today let's talk plaid! I am simply Mad about Plaid!
I absolutely love the plaid trend that is going on right now. It is so fun and easy to incorporate into your wardrobe for fall and winter. Not only is plaid perfect for clothing, but plaid has invaded the decorating world, as well. I will show you later in this post.
I have several plaid items in my wardrobe this fall. I have this plaid shirt from Old Navy which is great with jeans or corduroys which I am showing you here. You can also layer it with a scarf or a sweater as well.
Shirt: GAP (Similar), Pants: GAP, Boots: (Similar), Bag: Jimmy Choo (Similar)
Another plaid item I have is this comfy plaid scarf which I received in a Stitch Fix box last year. It is an infinity scarf and works great with deep burgundy, black or cream.

OUTFIT DETAILS:
Sweater: (Similar), Jeans: Madewell, Scarf: Stitch Fix , Clutch: Old, Toms for Target,
My new plaid favorite is this blanket scarf which I just bought. It is huge so it can be wrapped around and worn in various ways. I will show you later this week how I wear it within my current wardrobe.
And this fall you are just as likely to see the plaid fad (do you like that rhyme?) in your home decor. Target has a whole line dedicated to plaid. Ahhh! So adorable.
How much is too much plaid? Seriously! Because I want it all. They got me with the plaid deer head! How about you?
So cute!
