It’s the fourth week of our summer series called, Room by Room. In this series, you are going to have the opportunity to take a peek into different rooms in our home each week this summer. While visiting those spaces, we hope to share some of our favorite projects already completed, what’s on our to-do list for that space and give you tips to make the most of that room in your own home. This is a team effort, so no matter what your style, there’s a blogger for you to visit and gather inspiration from. All their spaces are linked at the bottom, so be sure to scroll all the way down and visit their rooms. If you want to look back on last year’s Room by Room series, you can find all the rooms I covered in this Organized Office post.
Today we are chatting about bathrooms! Our current house has three full baths and one powder room all of which are a work in progress! In this house, our master bathroom was not what I would have chosen, unlike our Modern Farmhouse Bathroom, we remodeled in our old home. It needs an overhaul, but we will consider that down the line when we have the time and funds!
Our powder room didn’t need much of a facelift upon moving in. Here is the only before picture we have.
The first thing we did was paint. We chose the same color for multiple rooms throughout our home, SW Alabaster. It’s a beautiful cream color that really brightened up the whole space. Once the space was lightened up, the black vanity and copper sink already installed looked like brand new pieces! Isn’t paint just amazing?
After that, all it needed was a little decor action! My Vintage collection of Paint By Numbers here (link) and these crystal doorknobs here (link) were perfect touches to bring it all together.
Catching up? Here are the spaces I’ve covered so far in this series.

Wow! I cannot believe the difference the new wall color had. The vanity looks totally different now.
Wow Amy – you aren’t kidding. You have perfectly illustrated the power of paint. Your bathroom is so bright and beautiful now. It looks like you did a complete remodel. Love the paint-by-numbers too – cute and creative!
