I have now received 15 Stitch Fix boxes and can say I truly love this service. It has fulfilled my shopping crave, but also introduced me to new styles and designers that I would not have necessarily been exposed too. I love that even if I just pick one item, it is something I wear often and is a reflection of who I am. I've been lucky to find “my stylist,” Jessica who understands what I'm looking for, but also introduces fun pieces that have awed me and added that additional element to my wardrobe I'm looking for. I rarely go to the mall any more, which has helped me simplify my wardrobe, oh and save some money in the long run. I used to go shopping and come home with way more that I either didn't really need or ended up not liking or wearing in the long run. Now, I have time to try on pieces in my home with items I already own and see if it is going to work.
Ok, off my soap box, but truly, I can't say enough about this company (oh, and they aren't paying me to say this!)
My June box has been one of my favorites. Last month, I kept a pair of distressed jeans shorts, but sent back the other items telling Jessica I wanted more “fun” in my summer wardrobe.
I feel like summer is a good time to introduce graphic prints, florals etc. because the weather is warm and you are feeling happy, right? Do you feel the same when it's sunny?
Well, she really listened to my advice and this box just rocked it.
1. Collective Concepts, Rosco Floral Print Crochet Detail Tank
I saw this specific item on Instagram and asked for it. That's definitely a trick I would recommend. If you follow Stitch Fix on Instagram or Pinterest, they will introduce you to new items that they just received and you can request specifics. No guarantees depending on stock, but it's worth a try. I'm so happy that she was listening and sent it to me. I love it!
2. Pixley, Landers Lattice Crochet Detail Tank
Love the way this is subtle with detail and easily dressed up or down.
3. Urban Expressions, Marsha Bowler Satchel Bag
The color on this is so summery! I think this pop of color is perfect with anything.
4. THML, Chenny Embroidery Detail Knit Tank
Another hit with the details combined with the stripes. Perfect for shorts or even with a sweater into the fall season.
5. Liverpool, Brittany Bermuda Short
These are denim which I have, but the longer length gives them a different look. I like how they roll up and are a slim cut.
Another great box!
