Hi friends, last month I showed you some outfits that I made using my Stitch Fix items. Today, I have a whole NEW round of outfits to show you. We'll call this Round 2. If you missed my first post, you can catch up on that one HERE.
What I like about the items I receive are that they are a bit different from what I can find at my local mall. All pieces are hand-picked by the Stitch Fix experts by up and coming designers. You aren’t going to find something from the Gap or Ann Taylor, but instead unique items to style outfits that not everyone is wearing.
Here's a quick run down of how the service works directly from their website:
1. Fill out your Style Profile
Begin by filling out the Style Profile. This helps us understand your size, style, shape, budget and lifestyle. Completing your profile should only take about 10 minutes.
2. Pick the date you’d like to receive your shipment
We’ll send you a selection of five clothing items and accessories handpicked by personal stylists on the date you choose. At the time your stylist selects your items, you will be charged a $20 styling fee. That $20 will be applied as a credit toward anything you keep from your shipment.
3. Try everything on in the comfort of your home
We encourage you to try on everything our personal stylists have picked for you because you just never know what will look great on! Create new outfits by pairing what’s in your shipment with the items that are already in your closet.
4. Buy what you like and return the rest
5. Tell us what you think!
Don't forget to give us specific feedback on each of the items you receive. Our personal stylists are able to send you better selections when we know what did and didn’t work for you, and why.
And a new service of Stitch Fix is their maternity clothing and petites!
1. Outfit #1
The top and the clutch on this outfit are from Stitch Fix. The designer top is Collective Concepts and the clutch is by Urban Expressions. I love this top because of the crochet detail on the back.
Top: Rosco Floral Print Crochet Detail Tank (Stitch Fix), White Denim: American Eagle, Clutch: Urban Expressions Elle Woven (Stitch Fix), Shoes: Mudd
In this outfit, both the top and the shorts are from Stitch Fix. The top is a brand called, Skies are Blue and the shorts are by Mavi. I love this look for an outdoor music festival especially with the fringe clutch from Forever 21.
Both the black top and the black clutch are from Stitch Fix. The top is by Brixton Ivy and the clutch is Urban Expressions. I mixed up the black on black by adding a thin brown belt. Paired with strappy sandals, this outfit is perfect for a night out.
In the next outfit, the skirt is the Stitch Fix item. The brand is Loveappella. I love the ruching on the side and how it can be dressed up or down. Here I dressed it down with a simple gray tank, but you can see HERE, how it also would look with a dressier cream blouse.
My all time favorite purchase from Stitch Fix was these shorts from Stitch Fix. The brand is Mavi. I wear these distressed denim cuffed shorts almost every day. They are super comfortable and go with everything! For this outfit, I paired them with a simple black tank and straw clutch.
This outfit has 3 Stitch Fix items, the top, jeans and clutch. It's hard to see in the pictures, but the jeans are cream and not a true white. I love the flare leg. The top is by THML, the jeans are Henri & Belle and the clutch is Urban Expressions.
Stay tuned for my July box which should be arriving soon!
