Hey, everyone! This is Cally! Hope your summer is off to a tremendous start. It's been a tad muggy and swampy here in Cincinnati so it was a delight to reflect on my travel photos from a few weeks ago and remember the cool Atlantic Ocean breezes of Maine.
My husband and I love to travel and go on adventures, especially to our National Parks. Acadia on the coast of Maine has been on our list for years, and a few weeks ago, we explored it! Lobster was always on the menu and the views were worth every granite hiked step.
Catching the gorgeous sunrise on the top of Mount Cadillac was my favorite nature inspired memory of the trip. Kinda like visiting the Grand Canyon, the pictures don't do it justice.
However, this is the first sunrise in the United States. As in the sun rises at 430am and we needed to be on top of a mountain in order to view it. Needless to say, it was a very early morning, multiple coffees kind of day.

Do you have favorite workout gear? A friend of mine let me in on the Zella Brand secret and now I'm here to share with you! These Zella Live-In Leggings from Nordstrom kept me cozy and comfortable through many of our hiking jaunts. Complete coverage and super stretchy without getting saggy. A win-win for workout gear!
Do you have a Summer Reading List?! I am always so excited to have some time off to read and relax, especially on my deck enjoying the sunshine. What are you looking forward to reading? Here are a few of my favorites so far…
One of my most favorite days of the year is New Planner Day. Yes, it's a holiday in my mind and I am giddy at the thought of it. This year I ordered from Erin Condren. So many of my teacher friends use these “life planners” and I was sold when I could add a monogram to my personalized front cover. Bring on the various ink colors and miles of washi tape!
Let's just talk about this top. Stitch Fix, how do I love thee? I informed my stylist of my NorthEast travels and my fascination with the upcoming Olympics (look for my Opening Ceremonies party in next month's post!) and she sent me this lovely article. How perfect is it?! Red white and blue: check. Stripes: check. Easy to layer once those cool summer nights hit: check check. Jaime never disappoints and I love the treasured pieces I have added to my wardrobe because of this front door delivered fashion.
I hope you all enjoy the next few weeks of summer fun. Go on adventures of your own, conquer that stack of bedside books, or kick back and enjoy the memories you've already made.
Stay cool and cozy!
