Maxi Dresses

Summer is all about staying cool and one of the best ways to do that and still dress stylishly is with a maxi dress.  This maxi dress from Stitch Fix is ideal for those summer evening concerts or date nights.  Not only is it halter style, but it is a lightweight flowy fabric which helps keep you cool.  Even though it is a long dress, the slits on the side help it to not feel restrictive in movement and increase the air circulation around your legs.  I've worn some in the past which made me feel enveloped in fabric and my legs almost got tangled up!  Not a good feeling especially in the heat!  So one of my tips in looking for a Maxi is to think about the fabric and movability while you are walking.

It's been a crazy couple of weeks with a vacation thrown in there!  My hubby and I celebrated our 15th anniversary in Banff, Canada.  It was an amazing place!  I posted some pictures on my Instagram account and I'll also follow up with a post soon.  The scenery blew my mind.
