Well, now that Halloween is over, I am switching gears and turning on my Christmas music! It is going to be here before you know it, so I am jumping right in with two feet today and giving you some great ideas for holiday wreaths. I’m thrilled to be joining Ariel from PMQfortwo for a holiday wreath hop. There’s going to be a ton of ideas for you to get your creative juices flowing! For my wreath, I really wanted something that could stay up past the holidays. I went with neutral winter whites, flannel, and pompoms to give it lots of texture. The neutral palette will blend seamlessly with my decor and will be beautiful on display well into the new year.
Winter White Holiday Wreath

Supplies:
Knitting yarn ( I chose this one in Ivory)
Fabric strips
Glue Gun
Instructions:
- First I began by wrapping my knitting yarn and gluing with my glue gun every few inches to secure it to the foam wreath. Snip the end when complete and secure with glue.
- Next, I made strips out of my flannel fabric. I then glued those onto the wreath. I thought it looked best to have six even sections.
- Using a pompom maker, I made about 10 pompoms in white and gray.
- Hot glue the pompoms into a bunch as an accent to your wreath
It will be perfect either above our mantel or in the window in my office.

Such a great idea 🙂 i like that the yarn is big enough to create an even spiral, and that you used tweed as ribbon! From small I couldn’t tell that it was plaid, and thought it was a cool tie-dye ribbon.
