Quick Decorating Refresh: Sisal Rope Vase

Today I'm sharing with you a quick decorating refresh.

Sisal Rope Vase

If you are like me, you have a lot of random glass vases sitting around which aren't particularly beautiful but you keep them just the same.  I always feel bad about throwing away a vase that is perfectly good from the florists.  I have them in all shapes and sizes because “you just never know” when you might need that one.

I decided to try to upcycle a vase to give it a new look.  This is a simple DIY project which you can do in minutes.

I purchased sisal rope for a DIY thrift store basket makeover I did last winter and I had some leftover just waiting to be used for something.  The basket turned out so well and was super easy to do so I thought, “why not!”

I love the summer vibe it gives off! I see this as an easy project with thrift store vases if you don't have any lying around already.  You can usually pick them up for around 50 cents.  I love the look so much, that I might just try it now on other things around my house.  Watch out.  🙂

Aren't these flowers just beautiful!!  These are one of several vases full of beautiful blooms I received in a Bloomsy Box.  I shared all about this great service in this post yesterday.

I hope your week is off to a great start!
