Spring Sweaters & My New Hunters

Well, I survived overnight camp with the 4th graders. It was honestly a lot of fun, but I appreciate my Tempur-Pedic mattress at home even more now! Ha, I'm sounding my age more and more.

No really, my best preparation for camp was my boots. These proved to be a lifesaver for this little adventure! I did not own a pair of rain boots and have been eyeing these Hunter's for years! Knowing that I'd be knee-deep in mud considering Ohio weather in March, I justified these little beauties!

HuntersSuper good investment I'd say!

Boots: Hunters

The other topic today is Spring sweaters. With lots of cute short-sleeved tops and blouses, I'm anxious to wear, I realized one thing I didn't have in my wardrobe was layers. Layers for Ohio spring weather are a must. It can be 40 degrees in the morning and 70 by the afternoon. Having light sweaters to take on and off are a good idea and make the transitioning of seasons easier.

I had a couple of heavy sweaters from Old Navy that I wore all winter. They were thick and cozy, perfect for winter, but way too warm for spring.

In looking at my closet, I decided that a couple of cardigans in neutral colors would allow me flexibility in creating outfits even with my more colorful tops.

Here are the 3 I choose. All were from Old Navy. I have long arms and love that I can order them in tall sizes. Also, you can catch some amazing online deals such as 30% off your purchase which is the current online sale.

All 3 are slightly different styles which I like.  All are perfect for layering and lightweight enough for spring! You will be seeing a lot more of these since I'm sure I'll be wearing them a lot!

To life feeling like home!
