I'm posting this early because I am heading out to over night camp tonight into tomorrow with 60 4th graders. Wish me luck! Somehow I managed to get myself signed up for this little adventure without even knowing it! Ha.
We recently did a mini makeover to the bay window in our office. If you remember the make up vanity that I created in our bedroom, then you may recognize this table that was formerly housed in our office window. If you missed that post, you can view it here.
I had been wanting to create more seating in our office so this seemed like the perfect space. I looked long and hard for smaller scale reasonably priced chairs. I had in my mind what I wanted and after searching high and low, I found the perfect chairs at Joss and Main. Joss and Main is an online site which you subscribe too. With your subscription, you will receive daily emails with flash sales and events for home decor at 70% off of retail value. I was so excited when I realized I could get 2 of these chairs for the regular price of one!
Here are my new chairs. I love that they are armless for such a small space and the tufting makes them look more expensive than they were.
We seem to have a lot of furniture stuffed around this house, thanks to many pieces we inherited on both sides of our families. This little wooden table was something my grandfather made. I wasn't really using it anywhere. It fit perfectly in between the 2 chairs like it was meant to be! I love that I can look at it every day and it has meaning to me.
It's a great spot to sit and read or have a glass of wine at the end of the day.
What do you think of this transformation?
If you haven't had a chance to get in on the Jamberry party, tomorrow, Friday is the last day. Here is the link to place an order.
Have a great weekend and I'm sure I'll spend it recovering from my night with 60 4th graders!
