Hey friends, I'm so thrilled you're here! Have you had the chance to explore the Ready for Fall Home Tour yet? It's a whirlwind of inspiration for all things autumn. Massive thanks to 2 Bees in a Pod for orchestrating this fabulous event. Oh, and if you're just hopping over from Noting Grace, a big warm welcome to you!
If we haven't met yet, I'm the voice and vision behind White Cottage Home & Living. I've been pouring my heart into this blog since 2014, and it's been an amazing journey sharing my home, family, and style hacks with you. My home is a cozy, white cottage-style ranch, and that's the inspiration for the name. It's a blend of everything I love—a home that's carefully curated with both cottage and traditional elements.
Okay, onto the good stuff. For my family room's fall refresh, I stayed true to my go-to palette—blues and greens. You know, you don't have to overhaul your entire space for a new season. Sometimes, it's all about the subtle touches that invite a fresh vibe. For me, it started with switching up the pillow covers and adding two new quilts—one for each back of the couches. Instant warmth and coziness, y'all!
But wait, there's more. My coffee table got a charming makeover with a large blue and white bowl filled with faux pumpkins. It's amazing how a single piece can be a game-changer, right? On the mantel, I swapped in faux wheat stems into my vases, keeping everything else the same, and voila! A touch of fall without turning my living room upside down.
So, are you ready to step inside my sanctuary? Let's take a tour and immerse ourselves in some early fall vibes—complete with my favorite blue and green decor!
There you have it, a snapshot of my family room, all decked out for the early fall season. Now it's your turn. What are some of your go-to seasonal decor tricks? I'd love to hear all about it!
Until next time, keep making your house a home.
