Most of you have had the chance to meet our dog, Irving, that we rescued from a local shelter in July. He often pops on my Instagram feed with his funny antics! I am totally in love with this little guy and just cannot believe how much joy he brings to our family! Though we’ve had him for a bit now, I still find myself learning new things about dog ownership and Irving’s needs specifically. One of the important things I’ve learned is that he likes to be active! We are guessing his age to be around two years old. As any two year old, dog or human, he enjoys playing with toys. I find that during the day, after our morning walk, he likes to continue his active play at home. We have tried many different kinds of toys to stimulate and entertain him and I was especially intrigued with the Milk-Bone® ActiveTM Toys I was recently introduced to at Meijer. These active toys combine entertainment and treats all in one! Definitely two of Irving’s favorite things! With an easy- to- use design, they dispense tasty treats while actively playing. There are four different active toys designed to work with Milk-Bone Biscuits. Irving tried out the Milk-Bone Active Treat Tumbler for medium dogs.
He really enjoys playing with his new toy. I like that it is made of high-quality, durable, non-toxic material. Our first time introducing it, he spent a lot of time sniffing it, rolling it along the floor, and trying to figure out how to get the treats out. He loved the biscuits and once he figured out that by playing with it he got a treat, he was all about it! What a fun reward for playing!
I purchased my Milk-Bone Active Toy at Meijer. Located in the dog toy aisle, they were easy to pick up along with my other shopping.
