I am so excited today! It's bathroom remodel REVEAL day! It's been so difficult holding back the pictures from you all! We have been finished for a few days and have spent time getting it all put together before photographing the space. The shower glass is not yet installed but we're going to pretend it's there and when it's installed, I'll give you another look.
Looking back at where it all started is always fun. We have lived in our home for 12 years and I have waited patiently to redo this space. You can see the before HERE and the midway update HERE.
To say that I'm pleased with the outcome doesn't really cut it. I may be a little lovesick over it! Our inspiration was this beautiful cement tile, copper faucets, and gooseneck barn lights.
Pulling our bathroom remodel all together was this wood tile, subway tile, and farmhouse details.
Let's get right to all the eye candy, so grab your favorite drink! My ability to limit the photos for this post proved more difficult than the construction of the space! So, be prepared for overload!
One of the key elements for the bathroom remodel in this space is the open storage choices I made. After having cleared out cabinetry and realizing that I may have a slight hoarding problem when it comes to bathroom products, I decided I was never going back to the black hole again. Baskets allow us ample storage but force us to be more considerate with our choices. Towels and other pretty items are beautiful stored in the open and make it easier for us to use. I love the open style of this single shelf vanity which was custom made for the space. Putting the towel bars, front and center complete the look.
These lidded baskets from Pier One hold our not as pretty items but are easy to grab when needed. I love the texture they add and how they contrast with the white shiplap walls.
This little glass drawer front cabinet was picked up at a local antique store. It's the perfect spot for extra toilet paper rolls and other items.
My fiddleleaf fig was down by the front door, but I loved how he looked in here. He was really thriving downstairs, so if he begins to wilt here, then he will go right back down to his original spot!
In the shower, we really wanted a spa feel. Especially since we removed the tub, I really wanted a spot to sit down and shave my legs. A little corner bench in the shower was the perfect solution. This rain spa panel has 8 jets that can be turned on or off depending on what you want. Also, a rain shower and a wand.
In the toilet nook, I found this cute printer's tray and mounted it with a small wreath for additional farmhouse charm. A copper toilet paper holder pulls together all the copper touches throughout the space.
I have already spent so much time enjoying this space! I love my concrete counter for putting on my makeup, enjoying a cup of coffee and catching up on my social media on my Ipad. It's a dream bathroom remodel and I couldn't be more grateful to have it and to be finished!
Thank you for hanging in there with me during this bathroom remodel! It has been a labor of love. Let me know what you think? I'd love to hear!

Absolutely stunning! I love it and I’m so inspired! Who made your custom sink? I have been looking for something like that and haven’t been able to find much. Thank you and great work!
Thank you! Here is the link for the sinks: https://rstyle.me/~cz-9Hh7i
The wood vanity was made by a local contractor here in Cincinnati. I’m so glad you like it!
Would your local contractor be willing to provide plans or maybe we could contact him to build another one?
Email me at mylifefromhome@gmail.com and I’ll give you his phone number. You could give him a call and figure out what works best!
I love the Ballard mirrors and want to use them in my new bathroom. Did the contractor who built the vanity custom match the wood stain or did you pick a stain for him to use? It would sure save me if you can tell me! Gorgeous bathroom!
Hi Kathleen! Thank you for your sweet words on the bathroom. The stain was a custom mix of 2 which my painter put together. We did use Minwax and I want to say one of them was the gray. Not real helpful, I really should have written that down. Sorry!
This is indeed very beautiful. I just love this modern farmhouse bathroom. I really liked each and every detail of it. Much appreciated for sharing this post.

Hey! I LOVE this! Wow, beautiful. My husband and I are fixing up a home and we are trying to figure out our bathroom and I really want a make up area like you did. Do you happen to know the measurements of your bathroom? We will be working with an 8’x10’…this looks like it’s very close to that!
Oh, wow, you have a great taste.
I love DIY home improvement projects. We remodeled our kitchen recently and also used wood tile. It’s the best!
Right now we’re thinking about bathroom.. Your article gave me so much inspiration, thank you for that!
I really like t he idea about baskets as open storage choice. I think it always looks much better, especially in small rooms as it gives that “open” look. And all the colors you chose – they work together really well.
Overall your bathroom looks very modern but at the same time classy
Thank you so much!!

Oh the fixtures — LOVE!! T hat pattern behind the sinks is so eye-catching; good job all around!
I came to visit from Chicken Chick’s bloghop; I hope you’ll have time one day to visit the 4Shoes & let me know that you’ve been by.
Thank you! The tile was my jumping off point in the design. I’m so in love with it! Thanks for coming by!
I love the tile on the wall behind the mirrors, but don’t see a description of it? Would you be willing to share please?
I agree! Where did you find the wall tiles?

Wasn’t sure what exactly modern farmhouse style was but I can totally see it in your bathroom. Touches of rustic, natural elements with sophisticated features. It looks fantastic. Great job.
Thank you, Melissa! Yes. I love the mixture of elements. So glad you like it!
I love what you’ve done, but I have a question about the shower. Do you have a door or shower curtain to keep the water from getting on the floor? We are considering remodeling our small 80’s master bath and would love a more updated shower, but was wondering about keeping the water off the floor.
Hi, Kim! Yes. It just wasn’t installed yet and I couldn’t wait to give you guys the reveal. It is in now and I will be giving everyone a look on the blog later this week. It is glass with a door. Glad you stopped by!

Oh Amy, it is so beautiful. You knocked it right out of the park! I love the tile sooo much and the copper accents are unexpected yet gorgeous.
Absolutely beautiful! My 2 favs would be the tile and the printer tray. Touches that separate it from the rest for sure. Thanks for sharing with us at Family Joy Blog linky party ?

This is so stunning! I’m in love with the design on the tiles mixed with the copper lighting. And those subway tiles…congrats on your new bathroom!
Thank you, Kelly! I’m so glad that you like it. We are so happy with how it turned out.
Beautiful reno Amy! The black and white, and wood, and copper has me all heart-eyed!!
Your bathroom looks like it from a luxury hotel spa. Beautiful well done job. Its stunning. Pinning.
Thank you so much!!! I am thrilled that you like it as much as we do!
Great job-gorgeous bath! I am obsessed with those cement tiles. I have noticed them been featured recently on several home improvement shows so I investigated them for a new project. I ordered some samples from the west coast and 2 of the 3 arrived broken! So, naturally I am a bit worried about the durability. Did you have any issues with breakage or chipping during the install? Just curious.
Hi, Susan! Did you get them at the Cement Tile Shop? We did not have any trouble with them breaking at all. That’s a bummer that happened. I would definitely let them know. We are really happy with the quality of them. Glad you like my bathroom! It has been a long overdue project! 🙂
Gorgeous! I absolutely love all the details. The tile behind the sinks is amazing and I’m loving the open storage! So much more practical. Thanks for sharing.
Neelam

Thank you, Jenn! I am so happy with how it all came together and can’t wait to enjoy it!
Wow! The time you guys spent on this bathroom certainly payed off. All of the small details really add up to make this space look great. The intricately patterned tiles reduce the need for much home decor in the space, which is great given that bathrooms are hard to find home decor for.
Thank you, Charlotte! We couldn’t be any happier with how it turned out. It’s perfect for us and we can’t wait to start using it! I am so glad you liked it!
OMG – we would never leave this gorgeous space! Your bathroom renovation is stunning. We love all of the design choices that you made. Your personal touches shine through. Love those mirrors…and the flooring…and the light fixtures 🙂
