August is the perfect time to start a furniture makeover! The kids are heading back to school and life is settling into a routine again. Before the colder weather sets in, head out to those local flea markets and antique fairs and pick up a piece of furniture to make over! Using paint is an amazing way to change the whole look of a piece without spending a lot of money. I find painting to be very soothing and there is nothing like watching something transform right before your eyes! Don't be afraid to give it a try, because the reality is if you hate it, you can always repaint it! This week's features will give you lots of ideas on how to tackle your next painting project!
