Do you love fruit desserts? I definitely love warm fruit cobblers and crumbles. They are the perfect desserts and since they have fruit, it makes you think that you are at least eating something kind of healthy, right?
I was craving something with peaches, so I decided to make a peach and blueberry crumble for dessert last night. Here is the recipe that I found from Taste of Home. It was so good that I had to share with you friends. Warm and yummy with whipped cream or ice cream. Perfect for a summer evening!
Ingredients:
6c sliced, peeled peaches (I used 4 cups of peaches and 2 cups of blueberries)
1/4c brown sugar
3tblsp Flour
1tsp Lemon juice
1/2tsp Ground cinnamon
Topping:
1c Flour
1c Sugar
1tsp Baking powder
1/4tsp Salt
1/4tsp Ground Nutmeg (I didn't have it, so didn't include)
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2c Butter, melted and cooled
Pre Heat oven to 375 degrees
Directions:
Here are the pictures of our crumble as it all came together.
It was outstanding and super easy to put together. You could use this recipe with other berries or apples. Can't wait to try it again.
Hope you get a chance to try the crumble. I'm positive you would enjoy it!
