Rustic Thanksgiving Tablescape

Thank you to At Home for partnering with me to bring you this inspiration space. As always, thoughts and opinions are 100% mine. Thank you for supporting those that make My Life From Home possible!  See full disclosure, here.

Today, I have teamed up with some amazing bloggers to share our Thanksgiving tablescapes.  This hop is going to give you the opportunity to see some amazing tables created in all different styles to inspire you in your own space.  If you are new to My Life From Home, I love a mix of farmhouse, rustic, and vintage finds.  My home is mostly neutral with pops of seasonal color.

We are hosting the holiday meal again for the second year in a row.  I actually like to entertain and can’t wait to have our family here to enjoy this holiday together.  My husband is in charge of the meal planning and I take care of the table and all the decorating.  I think that I get the fun stuff!

This year, I teamed up with At Home to create a beautiful rustic tablescape perfect for Thanksgiving.  Extra seating is always on my mind when we host.  We often set up a second table in the adjoining office so that everyone can eat together for larger meals.  The issue I always run into is seating.  You don’t want your guest that are at the adjoining table to be sitting on card table chairs and everyone at the main table has the good chairs.  I decided to rectify this when I saw these two nailhead tufted dining chairs at At Home.  They fit beautifully as captains chairs flanking the end of the table and thus gave us two more chairs to mix and match around both tables for seating.  You can never have enough chairs and the style fits beautifully with our home and will work just about anywhere we need them.

Amy – your tablescape and dining room are gorgeous! We love all of the personal touches you added to the table – especially the bronze squirrels and the “give thanks” silverware holders. Your Thanksgiving guests will love sitting t this table.

Such a lovely table, and although you describe it as rustic, I think it also has an elegant touch to it. I would call it rustic-elegance! I love the little bags with the thankful sentiments on them, and also how you rested them on the little wooden dishes. All of your details are so perfect coordinated. I have pinned this to my group Tablescape board. If you would like to join my board, follow it and send me an email and I will gladly add you. I would be honored if you would stop by and share your beautiful table at my link party, Celebrate Your Story! Here is the link if you have a moment to share it: http://celebrateanddecorate.com/celebrate-story-51/

If you like the sort of recommendation that still holds up six months later, leave your email below and I'll write to you on Sunday.

Most Sundays, once the house has gone quiet and it's edging towards nine, a letter goes out. It's the one I'd write to a friend with good taste and not nearly enough time: one thing worth reading, one thing worth buying, and one thing to skip. No noise, no pressure to spend, just the considered version of what I've actually been using, loving, or quietly sending back.
