Using Wrapping Paper as Drawer Liners

This was a simple DIY project that seems silly, but made a huge impact.  I recently updated an old dresser for my office.  Due to age, the drawers had a lot of wear and tear such as stains and old paint marks etc.  I decided to use wrapping paper to line the drawers and add a little color along with freshening them up.

The biggest suggestion I have is to measure twice and cut once.  It took me a few times to get this part right!  Since both drawers were the same size, once I got the measurements right, I was good to go.

Here is how I did it.

I measured, then on a cutting mat used a utility roller to cut the paper to size.

That's it!IMG_8093 IMG_8095IMG_8094Simple, easy and a big difference! I love the way they look.  It makes me smile now every time I open them up!

Just think of the possibilities!

Not sure where you purchased your paper, but Papyrus at Kenwood is always doing amazing things. : )
