Today I'm sharing another of my vintage collections with you, antique bottles. I'm telling you, you can't just have one, so if you join me in my love of them, you will definitely get addicted! I have quite a combination of bottles and I like to use them in small groupings either in vignettes, mantel displays, or on trays. The best thing about this collection is they are functional. Tuck in a sprig of greenery or a fresh flower you snipped from the garden and use them as vases. My favorites are ones with writing like an old pharmacy bottle. In addition, any of them that are frosted and green glass, fit right in with my cottage style.
I've picked them up from thrift stores, antique stores, or even new ones mix in with my collection nicely. It really is more about the grouping. When displaying them, I group them in threes using a mix of sizes and heights.

The latest way I've displayed them is on my painted pink dresser. I recently moved this dresser from behind the sofa to the window. Topping the dresser is a large display of a variety of new and old bottles some with greenery and some with out. I love how the light shines in and reflects off the glass. It is so fresh and beautiful.
I currently have two sets of antique bottles available for purchase at White Cottage Home Store, (LNK), (LINK). Either of these would make a great start to your own collection!
