Winter Skin Care

Winter weather can be brutal on your skin!  I always notice such a difference in the way I feel and look in the winter.  I've found that it is necessary to add different products to your daily regimen to keep dry and dull skin at bay.  Since winter weather has just begun, I thought it was the perfect time to gather some of the skin care products that I swear by and share them with you.

1.MY Konjac Sponge – This is a new product for me.  It is a charcoal sponge used to exfoliate the dry skin and clean out pores.

2. Crabtree & Evelyn Gardners Hand Therapy – I have used this hand cream for years and it is the best for cracked skin and knuckles. It smells so fresh and amazing also.

3. Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser– This is a gentle cleanser that works great for everyday use.

4. Eau Thermale Avene Cold Cream Hand Cream– This is another hand cream has a very deep penetrating feel.

5. Nivea Lip Butter– Perfect for dry and cracked lips and comes in a cute tin with various scents available.

6. Kiehls Ultra Facial Lotion– My all time favorite moisturizer.  I use this both at night and in the morning.

7. The Body Shop Pumice Foot Scrub– Can't make it to the salon for a pedicure?  Use this foot scrub to slough off calluses.

8.   Bio Oil– This oil can be used anywhere from your face to your skin.  You can use it in place of a moisturizer or in addition too. I like to add an extra layer at night before bed so it can penetrate overnight.

9.  CeraVe Moisturizer– Don't forget to moisturize your body every day and I like this one for particularly dry winter skin.

10. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery Power foil Mask– Once a week a mask will help brighten and clear your skin.
