Wedge Booties, Colored Denim & Tassel Necklace

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  The weather here in Ohio was absolutely amazing!  Amazing in that it was 70 degrees in February!

I'm not sure about you, but I'm convinced that the weather really does affect my moods.  Being that we have spent the last 3 months with the dreary cold weather, having a sunny 70-degree day made me so happy!  It's like the sun is out and all is good with the world.  It's amazing to think that some of you live with the sun and warmth almost every day.  Sigh!  Well, I guess it makes me appreciate it all that more.  Even though I've been struggling with a sinus infection, it was a beautiful day to get out and get some fresh air; playing basketball with our kids and taking a walk.

All this warmth makes me think about spring and spring clothes!  It's sometimes hard to find the right balance between warm weather and cold weather clothing.

For spring and fall clothing, I like to wear layers.  That way if it warms up throughout the day, you can shed layers and still be comfortable.  I wrote a whole post just on layering.  To learn more, you can read it here.

This outfit is perfect for transitional weather.  A heavy cardigan can be taken off and leave you still looking stylish with a white v-neck t-shirt and tassel necklace.

And this clutch…. still one of my favs!

Such a great neutral look! The cute tassel pieces and leopard clutch really add some extra sass. Also, I agree with you about the weather and moods; I am so much more motivated when the sun is out and there is a bit of warmth in the air.
