12 Days of Style With Christopher & Banks

One of the trends that I've been dying to wear ever since I spotted it this fall on the runway is the menswear look of a vest and tie.  The trend is not to wear men's clothing, but to get the look with a few key pieces in your wardrobe.  I have been on the hunt, but I have never found a combination that I liked until now. This blouse from Christopher and Banks is just the right mix of feminine and masculine. I love that you can tie the blouse or leave it undone for a more casual look.  You also can't beat the price!  For a holiday look, I paired it with a long necklace, black straight leg trousers, and a patent wedge heel.  This black and cream outfit is totally holiday party appropriate, but you could throw in a red lip, sequined clutch, or red heels to really glam it up!

 Tips on getting the menswear look for yourself:

•Look for items with a feminine cut  

•Mix trendy pieces sparingly  

•Play with textures and fabrics  

•Add menswear as an accent
