Tips on Using an Eyebrow Kit & Giveaway

*Update: Giveaway has ended*  Who out there endures an eyebrow waxing every few weeks??  No pain, no gain as they say!  I do mostly because I could never accomplish the same look by tweezing at home.  I do, however, notice I always get a few strays as the weeks pass and before I can make it back into the salon.  I began using an eyebrow kit for those minor touch ups and also to give my eyebrows some definition.  With my light hair, my eyebrows tend to be light also and sometimes need a little color to highlight their shape.  Before you check out, push out of your mind the stenciled in non-existent brows of the past.  The new brow look is sharp and defined without looking like they were penciled in!

My favorite kit to use is by Too Faced called Brow Envy.  It includes a brow powder duo, setting wax, highlighter, 3 stencils, tweezers, angled brush and a spooley.

Here is how it works.

1. First start by tweezing any of those runaway hairs.

2. Using the powder duo, mix up your ideal shade and apply with the miniature brush.  Use short strokes and begin under the brow in the inner corner.  The colors are nicely pigmented which allows for a wide range of natural shades and lasts long. I usually mix the two colors for the perfect shade.

3. Using your finger or the same brush, you next use the setting wax.  For this step, you stroke it over the brow and it will set it like hair gel.

4. Finally, you can use the highlighter with the brush to put just a dab in a straight line under your brow.  This will set them off nicely.

At any point, you can use the spooley brush to brush the hairs into place or even out your powder.  In this kit also is a set of stencils for you to use if you need direction on defining a shape.

This kit is everything you need to show off those brows!
